We are advancing to reduce our carbon footprint through our environment-friendly technologies to help reduce greenhouse emissions as well as air and water pollutants.
We operate India’s only fully integrated Carbon derivatives complex in which, we run country’s first continuous vacuum distillation facility for coal tar in a dust free environment.

Epsilon Carbon is deeply committed to environmental stewardship. By using feedstock with lower sulphur content, our SOx and NOx emissions are significantly below those of major global players in the carbon black industry. Furthermore, using clean coke oven gas from a nearby steel plant with low sulphur content as a secondary fuel in carbon black reactors shows our commitment to resource circularity, enabling more efficient and sustainable manufacturing.
The hot tail gas from our carbon black plant is utilized to operate a 17 MW captive power plant, which generates electricity to power the entire carbon complex.
